We are a welcoming, open and inclusive church, meeting in the centre of the community. Whether you are looking to join the church family on a regular basis, or are enquiring about becoming part of the church for a special event, such as a wedding or a baptism, these pages should give you all that you need to know.

Rev'd Mark Pengelly, Superintendent Minister
To proclaim the love of God in Jesus to all people.
We do this by:
Being a place of welcome, worship & nurture.
Belonging, learning & growing together.
Serving the community in whatever way we can.

Music and Drama

Trinity Music and Drama has its own web site, click here .
Officially 'Trinity Methodist Music and Drama Fellowship', the group is generally known as Trinity Music and Drama. Although originally a Church group Music and Drama is now open to all who subscribe to its' aim to 'produce musical and drama performances in keeping with the values of The Methodist Church'.
Trinity Music and Drama has a membership of about 50 members and has been part of Trinity Church Chelmsford for over 40 years. It was originally formed by members of Trinity Methodist Church as a Christian fellowship group performing in the church hall. Due to the success of their productions they were invited to perform at the Civic Theatre Chelmsford. We have continued to perform there every year and have performed the majority of the Gilbert and Sullivan light operas and other shows such as Merry Widow, Showboat, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Godspell and Jesus Christ Superstar to name a few.
Music and Drama meets in the Church hall on Monday evenings from 7.45pm.
If you are interested in music and/or drama either on stage or in scenery/costumes etc. please come along you will be very welcome.
